The WorldSwap Lottery Goes Live Today!
Premiering in WorldSwap’s sixth Edition, and with an initial prize of more than 650 wMATICs, WorldSwap’s shiny new Lottery is the first of its kind to allow players to win prizes denominated in Platform Tokens: wMATIC and wBNB.
Beyond the undisputed benefit for players, who can now play and win either wBNB or wMATIC depending on which blockchain Lottery they’re playing, powering WorldSwap’s Lottery with a non-farmable Token brings a lot of additional benefits.
Buyback-boosting Lottery
Working as a booster for new Cities and Farms, the Lottery enhances everyone’s farming experience by generating automated Token buybacks, which in turn helps the Token price to stabilize over time.
The 20% of the pot will be automatically used to perform buyback operations.
And, in the event that no participants were able to match 3 numbers on any draw, the 20% allocated to auto-Buyback will still be used accordingly.
Lottery rounds
Each full lottery session is completed every 12 hours, with 2 sessions taking place each day.
The first lottery draw will be held Today at 23:00 UTC, in Singapore Edition’s Lottery page.
How does the lottery work?
WorldSwap’s lottery is a unique game where users can win either wBNB or wMATIC Tokens by purchasing tickets using the same Token/currency denomination.
The lottery runs every 12 hours, and is divided into three phases:
- Purchasing period (1 hour)
- Lottery draw
- Winner announcement / Celebrations
Specifications
▶️ 1 ticket costs 10 wMATIC.
▶️ Users will receive 1 ticket (comprising 4 digits from 1 to 9) for each 10 wMATIC paid.
▶️ During the draw period, the contract will pick the final number.
If you don’t match all 4 numbers, there’s no need to worry!
As long as you match 2 or more numbers in the correct position, you are always guaranteed to win a reward:
- Match all 4 numbers in the exact order: win 50% of the pot (or split the pot if more than 1 winner).
- Match 3 numbers in the exact order: win or split 20% of the pot.
- Match 2 numbers in the exact order: win or split 10% of the pot.
- The remaining 20% of the pot will be used for buyback and burns. Which helps the City-Token to stabilize, generating buying pressure 🔥🔥🔥
